April 16th – June 4th : Preparation from France
UBIFRANCE SF will work to help you prepare your trip to San Francisco. This preparatory work will consist of strategic analysis through intensive work on the Executive Summary, so to identify the best plan of attack for the US market.
Emphasis will be placed on form: preparation with an American communication consultant to ensure all documents are in line with American standards and codes
June 4th (at UBIFRANCE in San Francisco) : Work on Presentations
Pitch & Presentation Coaching: with presentations by an American consultant who will work with you on your presentations for the week
June 7th (San Francisco): Workshops and Presentation Before a Panel
Workshops will revolve around the following questions:
- Constructing your development strategy in the United States
- Obtaining meetings, knowing how to conduct them, how to follow up
- Judicial aspects of developing your business in the United States
- Protecting intellectual property
- Raising funds
In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to formally pitch your company to a panel of VCs, journalists, and serial entrepreneurs. The panelists will give you feedback on your presentation, preparing you for the B2B meetings that will follow during the week.
June 8th : Networking events and beginning of meetings
Networking event in Silicon Valley. This event will give you the opportunity to meet a variety of American entrepreneurs, investors, business development teams, and members of the press. This is the perfect time for you to test your elevator pitch.m
June 8th (afternoon) – June 11th: Individual B2B meetings
Individual meetings with those partners that selected you, in addition to meetings organized at your request (press + other US companies)
June 9th – France Meets Silicon Valley Event
Large networking event organized by UBIFRANCE in honor of the selected companies. This event will permit you to present your solutions before an audience of 200+ people, with a cocktail to follow
